The Stanley PD45 Hydraulic Post Driver is a heavy duty tool for driving a wide range of posts including #2, #3, & #4 lb/ft "U" channel, #3 & #4 Strong Back "U" channel, #1 delineator, up to 2-5/8 inch round, or up to 2-1/2 inch square posts. Ideal fo for DOT applications to drive breakway post to within 4 inches above ground level.

The PD45 features dual guiding handles, a lifting eye and multiple post adapters. The optional adapters allow the PD45 to be used on smaller posts of different shapes.

The PD45 is offered in three trigger options; two have the trigger in the handle (Valve-in-Handle) and one has a remote on/off. Both trigger Valve-inHandle models have an ON/OFF trigger adjacent to a guiding handle. The trigger extends the full length of the handle allowing the operator to activate the post driver at any position of its length. The trigger is “spring loaded” to the OFF position.
